The 海伦西亚拉丁中心 hosts a variety of events throughout the year, with an emphasis on Hispanic Heritage Month. We kick off the month with Sunse的节日t, a celebration that highlights and shares the richness of our cultures. 现场表演, 小饰品, 游戏, 食物, 和跳舞, we honor the contributions and cultures of Latino and Hispanic communities.
Día de los Niños, hosted in April, is a traditional day of celebration dedicated to the children in our neighborhood. We use this as an opportunity for our community partners to highlight their summer events and activities. We also have 食物, 游戏, engaging activities, music, prizes, and live performances.
首都萨那 is a series focusing on self-care and mental health. 首都萨那 stems from a popular children's rhyme, “治愈, 治好小青蛙的尾巴," commonly used as a healing chant when a child hurts themselves. This series highlights different ways one can practice self-care. Our activities include painting classes, Zumba or dance classes, hiking trips, and movie nights.
